Transportation
Orion is able to carry out your PCB project from start to finish. When needed, we can arrange transportation from your location to our plant in The Netherlands. A team of specialist will prepare your appliances for transportation in sea containers. You can also make use of the special Orion containers. These containers are especially equipped for transportation of dangerous materials. Choosing Orion is choosing a safe and definite solution, acknowledged by international and national governments.

Export
Acquirement of an export license (Trans Frontier Shipment documents) under strict conditions of the Basel Convention is the first step Orion undertakes to carry out your PCB project successfully.
Because of our extensive experience and cooperation with our local partners Orion is able to take care of Trans Frontier Shipment procedures quickly and efficiently. After receiving PCB containing materials at the Orion factory in Drachten it takes about 2 weeks till final processing. Afterwards you will receive the legal certificates of removal and destruction from Orion.

• Transport regulations
  The requirements for transport of dangerous goods like PCBs will differ for road and sea transportation. In general the transport unit (container) and the goods and drums itself must satisfy the rules for packing and labelling as prescribed for road transport in the ADR, for sea transport in the IMDG-code and for rail transport in the RID. For combined transport including over sea theIMDG-code will apply.Naturally transportation is carried out with the utmost care for the environment and legislation.
